Welcome, Lynne, Colin & Sarah Richardson hope you will enjoy looking at the photos of the dogs and if we can help you with anything 'Doggy', please feel free to contact us. We live in a small town in South Wales called Bridgend, which is approximately 3 miles from the coast. There are 4 humans and 8 canines who share the house.
The prefix comes from the hotel that Lynne & Colin stayed at on their honeymoon in 1970 in Majorca. We have shown Cocker Spaniels, Great Danes, a GSP, Skye Terriers and Cesky Terriers. We have been showing Skyes for 30 years, albeit with a short break of 4 years in the late 80's and early 90's.
We originally started showing 37 years ago with a tricolour Cocker Spaniel bought from Alf Collins of the world famous Colinwood Kennels. We showed Cockers with reasonable success for about 15 years.
We also had Great Danes which we showed with some success at both championship and open show level. We were founder members of the Great Dane Club of South Wales and Colin was the original breed club secretary and is approved by the K.C. to award C.C’s. in the breed. Sarah now owns Dennis the Menace, aka Auldmoors Ask Me Another at Talyot. He has one CC, his Junior Warrant and won BIS at the Pennine Great Dane Club Championship show in 2007
Our current show team consists of Talyot Katy the daughter of Ch T Genevieve ShCM and like her mother she is a light silver Skye bitch. She has won well at both championship and open shows. She returned to her show career at WKC championship show, winning the Junior Class. We are running on her puppy, Ben (Talyot Learchus) and his first championship show is National Terrier.
Talyot Damocles (Danny) has been very successful in 2009 as he was top Cesky dog, his wins include Best Dog at National Terrier Show and at Blackpool Championship show. He has also won the CACIB, Green Star and B.O.B. at the Euro Show in Dublin.
Auldmoor's Ask Me Another at Talyot JW(Dennis) after being sparingly campaigned in 2008, has won well in 2009 at the small number of shows he has attended.
The 3 Skye Terriers plus the 4 Cesky Terriers and Dennis keep us busy.
We are members of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeders Scheme
